Positive Approach to Care® Champion Series
Transforming dementia care through connection, skill, and a fresh perspective
Why Positive Approach to Care Training?
Because... you CAN live well with dementia.
The Teepa Snow approach is proven, evidence-based and transforms the lives of the individual and care partner(s).

The GEMS® MODEL
Every person living with dementia is unique, capable, and able to shine when given the right support.
The GEMS® framework - Sapphire, Diamond, Emerald, Amber, Ruby, and Pearl—helps care partners recognize retained abilities and adapt their approach for greater comfort and connection. Training participants learn to “meet people where they are,” reducing frustration and increasing understanding.
